Dr Robert Scott

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Rob Scott is a General Practitioner with experience across general practice, emergency medicine, and rural and remote healthcare.

Dr Rob is known for a calm, grounded approach and for taking the time to genuinely listen, especially when problems are complex, layered, or not easily reduced to a single diagnosis. Rob focuses on clear explanations, evidence-based care, and helping patients make decisions they actually feel comfortable with.

His background in emergency and acute care has shaped a steady, practical style of medicine — one that is comfortable with uncertainty, proactive about prevention, and focused on what will make the biggest difference to long-term health.

Dr Rob has a strong interest in men’s health, cardiovascular risk, mental health, and supporting people who want to remain active and capable as they age. He is also involved in clinical research, keeping his practice closely aligned with current evidence and emerging treatments.

Outside of work, Dr Rob competes in adventure racing and enjoys mountain biking and running. He understands the mindset of people who push themselves physically — and the importance of keeping bodies functioning well, not just “within normal limits”.

He believes the best general practice is built on trust, continuity, and thoughtful care that fits real life.
