Dr Melissa Watanabe is a caring and experienced doctor who is passionate about high quality medical care and developing long term relationships with her patients. 

Dr Melissa enjoys all aspects of general practice with special interest in child health and preventive medicine. 

She moved to Australia in 2009 after completing her medical degree in Brazil in 2003. Prior to working as a general practitioner Dr Melissa worked in various hospitals in Victoria for nearly 7 years in paediatric, neonatal and adult services including The Royal Children’s Hospital, Monash Health, The Royal Women’s Hospital Melbourne and Western Health. She also got experience working in aged care facilities.

In spare time Dr Melissa likes to explore the beautiful Sunny Coast with her two boys, husband and her dog.
