Dr Lucy Randall
Dr Lucy ‘s passion is to provide high quality, individualised health care in a General Practice setting. Dr Lucy looks after the medical needs of patients of all ages, with special interests in people experiencing complex or multiple medical conditions, mental health difficulties and eating disorders.

Dr Angela Allsopp
MPHTM, MBBS, FRACGP, GradCertClinEd, BAppSci(MedSc)
Dr Angela Allsopp graduated from Griffith University in 2011 and has spent most of the time since then on the Coast.
She is an approachable and thorough GP who enjoys the variety of General Practice from babies to chronic disease management.
One week a month she works for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Western Queensland and she also lectures medical students at Griffith University.

Dr Jamal Hussain
MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Jamal Hussain qualified at Kings College, London in 1999 and worked as a GP in England before emigrating to Australia. He has particular interests in medical education, Veteran’s Health, care of people with acute and chronic medical conditions and in care of older people.
In his spare time he likes playing squash and working on his Buderim acreage block.

Dr Lauren Shorthouse
Dr Lauren Shorthouse is hospital trained including a diploma of obstetrics and gynecology and further training in pediatrics and emergency medicine.
- Dr Shorthouse has a special interest in women’s and children’s health.
Dietitian - Geraldine Taggart-Jeewa
Geraldine Taggart-Jeewa is a Health at Every Size aligned Accredited Practising Dietitian, Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor based at Ninox Health Buderim.
In addition to her training as a dietitian, geraldin has undertaken extensive postgraduate training, including CBT-E, FBT, ACT, MI and trauma informed dietetics to support her work with clients experiencing eating disorders, disordered eating and body image concerns to find peace with food and their body.
Psychologist - Sandi James
MEd. PGradPsy. CEDC CCIEDC
Sandi James is a registered Psychologist and Certified Eating Disorder
Recovery Coach with more than 15 years working in mental health, eating disorder,
and addiction treatment. She is a lived experience clinician and dedicates her career
to working with clients that feel let down by current systems of care and treatment
approaches. Her primary focus includes mental health and trauma recovery, with a
particular focus on co–occurring presentations including substance use or food and
compulsive exercise related difficulties.
Sandi has extensive experience working with individuals and families to heal
and recover from trauma, addictions, eating disorders, and mental health conditions.
She is dedicated to working with clients and families from an inclusive and person
centered approach to improve quality of life from a harm reduction perspective. She is
a passionate and committed clinician, working alongside and guiding clients in the
recovery process. Sandi is building a practice integrating joyful movement and somatic
healing approaches to treatment as well as working towards her PhD conducting
qualitative research looking at experiences of eating disorder treatment: identifying,
responding to, and addressing harm experienced throughout the treatment process.

Practice Manager / Registered Nurse - Kristy
Kristy is a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with 6 years of experience in healthcare. She is passionate in providing compassionate and evidence-based care to all patients.
Outside of her nursing practice, Kristy runs a hand building clay studio, where she teaches and also creates stunning ceramic pieces for businesses locally and worldwide.
Kristy also loves spending time with her gorgeous husband, four children and their dog Gemma.
Registered Nurse - Cherie
Cherie has worked in General practice as a Registered nurse for over 15 years with experience in a variety of areas including Chronic Disease management and health assessments with a compassionate, understanding, and holistic approach towards providing care to patients of all ages.
Cherie also works in community palliative care and enjoys gardening, yoga, and spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
Registered Nurse - Kirsty
Kirsty has recently joined the Ninox Team and with seven years of experience in general practice, Kirsty is passionate about supporting individuals and families within the community. Kirsty’s career has been dedicated to promoting good health through education and ensuring continuity of care for my patients. Kirsty believe that informed patients are empowered patients, and she take’s pride in providing clear, compassionate guidance on health and wellness.
In Kirsty’s spare time, she enjoys Pilates, exploring the markets of Sunshine Coast and tending to her animals and property in the hinterland.
Administration - Tasha
Tasha is our dedicated senior receptionist with over 5 years experience, and is the friendly face you will see when you arrive to Ninox Health. Tash is originally from the UK and has found the Sunshine Coast as her home.
Tasha enjoys in her free time, hiking around the hinterlands, and the hidden gems of the Sunshine Coast. Spending time with her friends and snuggles with her cat.
Administration - Michaela
Michaela’s journey from Slovakia to the Sunshine Coast has been transformative. For three years, she has embraced the coastal lifestyle, making the Sunshine Coast her beloved home.
Joining Ninox Health in December 2023 marked the start of a fulfilling medical reception journey, where she thrives in the collaborative team environment.
Michaela’s passion for travel has taken her around the world twice, enriching her understanding of diverse cultures. This love for exploration extends to her enjoyment of watersports, where she finds both relaxation and adventure.
